Where To Play Roulette

Posted by admin

If you’ve been playing roulette online for a while and were wondering if there might be some better or more interesting places to play the game online, then I guess you’ve come to the right place. There are a whole slew of online casinos that offer video roulette, and depending on what you’re after you should find something that suits your tastes.

As far as the actual gameplay is concerned, you won’t find any differences apart from the fact that some host American roulette and some host European, though if you can I always advise you stick to European roulette because you get much better odds than with the American version.

If you haven’t yet checked it out, I always recommend you seek out Casino-On-Net just because I think it has one of the simplest gameplays out there and one of the prettiest and most functional interfaces and is generally simple enough to be used by just about anyone. It’s also by far the biggest casino online today so you’ll never ever have to worry about them running dodgy software or ripping you off, they get audited and checked more than anyone does.

Also with Casino-On-Net, they’ve got a Ladies gambling area all decked out in horrible amounts of pink if you’re so inclined to immerse yourself in a lavish cyan world. There’s nothing different about the general gameplay, apart from the fat it’s all pink and white. Go figure.

If you’re an American however, you won’t be able to login to either of those casinos as they ban American players due to the gaming laws in your country.

Another nice casino that runs well, looks good and actually accepts Americans is Rushmore Casino. This one has been a favourite of mine for quite some time and I’ve made a lot (and lost a bit) of money while gambling there, though I always seem to go back.

But if it’s total winning power and fairness you’re after, go for BetFair as it’s the only casino I know of in existence that doesn’t have a house edge on their roulette tables. That’s as good an excuse to gamble at a casino that I’ve ever heard in my life.

Whilst football is recognised as easily the most popular team sport on the planet, drawing television audiences of billions to its major events, relatively few football fans take the opportunity to put their football expertise to the test by taking part in football betting.

For many football fans, being a supporter is all about backing one club for life, however football betting allows you to add excitement to neutral matches by backing the club you rate as strongest. And if your team isn’t on a good run of form, placing a bet on the opposition can offer some consolation when your team loses.

Online betting is one of the best ways to become involved in football betting. Most online sportsbooks offer a huge variety of football bets from the world’s top leagues, all year round. What’s more, an online account can be set up in a matter of minutes, giving you virtually instant access to football betting markets.

Here are just a few of the most popular football betting options:

Match betting – match betting is the simplest type of football betting. It involves betting on the outcome of a match, with each outcome priced at specific odds. You can bet on a team or a draw. Typically the betting slip will carry the name of one team under ‘away’ and the other under ‘home’.

When doing match betting you can also vote on a handicap bet which basically gives one team a one goal advantage or disadvantage before the game has even started. You then bet on the outcome as per a normal match bet.

Score betting – score betting describes a wide range of betting options. The simplest is predicting the final score of a match, and tends to carry very high odds.

Another popular score betting option involves betting on who will score a goal. These bets carry high odds and come in several varieties including: first goal scorer, last goal scorer and anytime goal scorer.

Special bets – every football game will carry a wide variety of additional betting opportunities, with each online bookmaker offering their own game specials. Literally every aspect of the game attracts odds, ranging from the number of corners in the game, through to which players will be injured. These bets often carry some of the highest odds.

Tournament betting – if you’re a big picture punter you’ll enjoy tournament betting. Betting opportunities range from picking group and pool winners, picking the tournament winner and predicting the number of goals a team will score in the competition. The limits to your tournament betting opportunities are defined only by the bookmaker’s imagination!

We hope that this brief introduction to the basics of football betting has been helpful. With several great football tournaments including the African Cup of Nations, Euro 2008, FA Cup and Champions League being played this year you won’t find a lack of opportunities to practice your new football betting skills!

Now that you know the basics of football betting you probably want to take it a step further. Go have a look at The Euro 2008 Betting Guideas well as Uefa Cup betting and FA Cup betting to put theory into practice.

If you are succumb with the desire in winning the lottery, then the only way to earn is to be part of a syndicate. A syndicate is a group of individuals who share the same passion in this game of chance. In here, participants are asked to chip in an amount every week and their desired six numbers to play. If anyone in the group wins the jackpot, the total earnings are then divided. The good thing about this one is that since there are more persons involve, there is a big chance to win in every draw.

Like any other games, the syndicate may not always win. Yet you can still profit even without the jackpot. For instance would be referring another individual to join the said consortium. With that in hand, the new member tends to give his or her share. Every syndicate has their rules in how their members can profit. Let us take into account the UK National Lottery. In this syndicate, every person who refers someone will have a 20% share of those individual total earnings. If that new individual will refer someone again, then he or she will not only have the share of the new member but you as the first hand referrer.

The ladder goes on and your potential profit can even grew from hundreds to thousands. Much more your credibility will also rise since every successful referee within your ladder will be accredited into your code number. The UK National Lottery only allows up to seven ladder paths. The seventh and final step would be consisting of 78,125 persons and the total annual profit you could gain once you reached this limit is over a million pounds. With this said, you can earn more from referring rather than playing the lottery. Much more this is really a sure way to have money than taking your chances in the uncertain.

Despite the efforts of the US government to curtail gambling on the internet, millions of dollars are still being wagered each day on sporting events, poker and online casino’s. Estimates for the amount of money being wagered yearly on sporting events vary greatly but it is a common acceptance by all the estimators that it is in the Billions of dollars. Obviously the internet makes up a big part with its worldwide attraction and availability, but there are also the legal sports books in States like Nevada and some foreign countries that have legalized betting on sporting events. What makes it difficult to get an accurate estimate is the number of “barber shop bookies” throughout the US and around the world. The illegal bookmakers it is estimated, makes up nearly 50% of all sport betting action annually.

What draws the public to the “windows” to place wagers on sporting events….? Of course many are drawn by the thrill of having “something riding” on a game and almost always can watch the outcome on a TV broadcast. Why do the Vegas Sports Books put a TV next to a game on their board? Because they know that more action will come in on a game that is being televised than ones that are not. This alone may answer the question of how many sport bettors actually end the season or the year with a profit? Playing games just because they are on TV is certainly not going to put a sport bettor into profit.

General opinion by bookmakers estimate that less than 10% of all consistent sport bettors will end up with a profit at the end of the year. Most sport bettors do not have the expertise, the resources and the time to intelligently analyze a sporting event that will give them the edge against the bookmaker. Professional handicappers will spend many many hours each day analyzing statistics, reading press releases, studying injury reports, watching weather forecasts, tracking line movements, analyzing trends and comparing team and player matchups.

Besides just the thrill having something riding on a sporting event, is the lure of those preying on the greedy. Many sport services (touts) advertise winning percentages that are nothing more than marketing ploys to reel in the sport bettor in search of making that “big hit”. The reality is that anyone able to consistently predict the outcome of a game (against the spread) more than 60% of the time is in the top 10 to 15 percent of all handicappers. We are not referring to the hobbyist handicapper here, the one who places a wager once in awhile on they’re Alma mater or a once a year wager on the Super Bowl. We are talking about those that place 200 or 300 wagers per year. The serious sport bettor who is out to make a living or at least a decent profit off his efforts will wager on at least 5 to 10 games each week and higher when football season overlaps the basketball season. So, how much can a serious sport make betting sports throughout the year? Answer: how big is your available bankroll to get started?

The expectation of the novice or unsuspecting sport bettor is invariably far above the realm of reality. This is in part, as mentioned above, is caused by the outlandish advertising claims of some sport betting advisors and services. Claims of winning 70% or 80% of all their games, or that you can make 100 times your starting bankroll in one season….etc. Our example of a really good handicapper being able to win 60% of his wagers is very accurate, you can trust me on that one….To prove this point, why is it that the biggest football handicapping contest in the world (The Super Contest), which is at the Las Vegas Hilton, and draws some of the best handicappers from throughout the world, offers a $10,000.00 bonus to anyone who correctly picks 63% or 66% (forgive me but the exact number escapes me at the moment) during the contest. The contest requires each entry to pick 5 NFL games per week for 17 weeks. That’s a total of 85 games, which means if someone could correctly pick 56 winners of those 85 games, they would collect the 10K bonus. So you can see that the average Joe hitting 60% is quite an extraordinary feat.

Now here is the reality of making money by betting sports….Let’s assume you have a starting bankroll of say $1000.00 and you are going to wager on average 5 games per week. If you placed a $100.00 wager on each of your 5 games and you made a total of say 200 wagers over the year, you would have a total outlay of $22,000.00. This is including the 10% commission the books add to the wager. So if you make a $100.00 wager, you must put up $110.00 to win $100.00. This is sometimes called the “juice” or the “vig”. This is how the bookmakers stay in business. They make 10% off the bet off all the losers, which is one reason it is difficult to beat the books. They adjust betting lines so they can keep the action on a game as close to 50-50 as possible….They keep the $10.00 of the losing bets while the winner gets his initial $110.00 wager plus the $100.00 win. So if a book had say 100 wagers at 100 each which would be 10,000 wagered on one game and 50 of the bettors had side A and the other side B, this is the perfect scenario for the book, because they profit no matter who wins the game.

Let’s use our example of your $100.00 wager on 200 games over the course of a season, and let’s say you are a good handicapper and are able win 60% of those games….I must point out here, that you need to win at least 53% of those games to break even, just because of the Vig as mentioned above. Ok, so you wagered a total of $22,000.00 over the season, at 60% you won 120 of those 200 games. You will get back $210.00 for each of the games you won (the $110.00 you put up plus the $100.00 you won) which gives you a total return of $25,200.00 return, or a $3,200.00 profit for the year….That is the reality. Consider someone who is wagering only $10.00 or $20.00 per game and expects to make a big profit and you see that the reality is that you need a big starting bankroll to make a living at betting sports. Even at the $3,200.00 profit, you certainly cannot consider that as making a living….And again we are assuming you are a “good” handicapper picking winners at 60%.

Fortunately, most sport bettors are recreational or hobbyist players and not out to make a living. Just seeing even a small profit at the end of the year can be very gratifying for them and fulfills their desire to add to the excitement of the game. Over the past 16 years of providing sport betting advice to my clients, it is gratifying to me when even a small player is making even a small profit off my service…I have never failed to make a profit for my clients in the 16 years I have been in business….However, the reality is: you may not get rich.

A pair of Aces in No Limit Texas Holdem is the best possible starting hand. Before the flop you are 80% favorite against the individual holdings of your opponents.

So why do so many new players get into trouble playing Ace / Ace? This article looks at three important factors in playing any poker hand and highlights ways of thinking about the situation to avoid going broke with that pair of aces.

1) Number Of Opponents In The Hand.

While you are typically 80% favorite against a single opponent before the flop when holding a pair of aces this number falls dramatically as more opponents are added. We will look at this for 4 opponents with various holdings to see how the number falls:

- 1 Opponent Holding KK – You are 82% favorite.

- Add 2nd Opponent with 78 suited – You are now 62% favorite

- Add 3rd Opponent with 55 – You are now 51% favorite

- Add 4th Opponent with JQ – You now win only 43% of the time.

So by adding more opponents you go from a strong favorite to win the hand to an actual underdog! The message here is clear:

* A Pair Of Aces Performs Best Against A Small Number Of Opponents Holding High Pairs. *

You should play that pair of aces in such a way as to minimise the number of opponents, this is usually achieved by putting in a good size raise before the flop. Many new players like to limp aces and hope to trap opponents later in the hand. This is often a big mistake and should only be attempted when you are very sure that someone yet to act will raise – allowing you to then re-raise to isolate them. Limping aces only to find yourself playing against 4 opponents is an easy way to go broke!

2) The Texture Of The Flop

Imagine the scenario where you raised with your aces pre-flop and got 2 callers. You are still a healthy favorite to win the pot but caution is still required. The key skill here is to analyze the ‘texture’ of the flop and adjust your betting correctly, some examples are below.

- Flop comes 7-8-9 of Hearts, you do not hold the ace of hearts. This is a dangerous flop, if it did not hit one of your opponents then they may have a draw to the straight or a flush.

- Flop comes 2-8-Q with 3 suits. This is a very safe looking flop for you with very few draws.

- Flop comes A-10-J, with 2 suited cards. This is a good flop but still contains dangers, since many people like to play high cards and suited cards someone could be drawing to a straight or flush. Fortunately if the board pairs on the turn or river you will have a full house.

The key with Aces is to bet enough to make sure that opponents with draws to not get the right price to call, yet not so much that would make any worse hands fold and get called by hands that beat you.

Using the 7-8-9 hearts flop as an example, if you go all-in on this flop you will mostly be called by flushes and straights but will get hands like K-9 or 10-10 to fold. Instead bet an amount that will be called by those hands you beat but deny the correct odds for people to draw… if they call with a straight draw anyway they will then be making an error which costs them money in the long run – regardless of the outcome of this particular hand!

Reads On Your Opponents

Reads on your opponents are as important a skill in No Limit Texas Holdem as choosing the right hands to play. With Aces this becomes even more important. Take the following scenario: You raise pre-flop and get 2 callers, the flop comes 8-9-K with 3 suits. You bet the size of the pot and get re-raised all-in by one of your opponents…

What to do?

This depends entirely on your opponent. Against the ‘average’ opponent in the lower-limit online Texas Holdem games you have an easy call. Ask yourself this question – what hands would this opponent re-raise all-in here? Some particularly tight or passive opponents would only ever raise 2-pairs or trips here. Other opponents may be raising with a straight draw.

All-in re-raises on the flop should not be a common sight in online texas holdem games – make sure that when this happens you make a note of what people are doing it with… it could make you a lot of money in situations like the one above (or sometimes even save you your entire stack!!).

Craps is the casino game that everybody is curious about. It’s big and looks complicated, and when people are winning, it’s the loudest place in the casino. Like any casino game some luck is involved in winning, but the flexibility and choices that craps players have allows them to position themselves to play aggressively when the dice get hot.

One of the things that makes craps so interesting is that you can interact with the game according to your own strategy. You can set goals that might be completely different from the player next to you but you both can be winning. Once you understand the basics of play, you can become like a gymnast, who can move backward and forward on the balance beam. If you choose, you can put all your moves together and devise a routine.

An avid sect of players employs the power pressing craps system. Power pressing is the general term to describe playing craps in an aggressive manner that steadily increases the size of bets. House money (money generated by winning bets at the casino) is the preferred source of money for fattening the bets. It is classic reinvestment of profits. The “power” in the term power pressing refers to the determination with which bets are increased. The player will rarely receive any change after a number has won because all the winnings are reinvested in the bet. Some power presses even require that the player chip in a few more bucks in order to achieve the next desired betting level. Power presses can be done to one number or multiple numbers at the same time.

To distinguish between regular old pressing and power pressing, think of pressing as speeding a bit on the highway when you are late for work. Power pressing is more like automobile racing. You want to draft behind the car in front of you and build as much momentum into your system as possible before swinging out ahead and making the big win.

In order to begin power pressing, you need to have one or more place bets. Place bets are the most suited to power pressing because they win the first time the number rolls, unlike come bets, and the player has the option to reclaim the entire bet. Now that you have some place bets in action, you can begin power pressing. The following scenario will serve as an example of the power pressing technique.

Basic Six and Eight Power Press

The six and the eight are the most common numbers to attempt to power press. This is because, after the omnipresent seven, the six and eight are the most common rolls and therefore the numbers amenable to rolling repeatedly. Having your place bets win two or more times is key to successful power pressing and winning.

  1. You start with $6 bets on the six and eight. Your initial goal is to achieve $12 bets on the six and eight after only one win on either the six or eight.
  2. The six rolls while the bet is in action, and the $6 place bet wins $7.
  3. You say “press the six and eight” and GIVE THE DEALER $5.
  4. The dealer will take the new $5 injected into the system and put it with the $7 payoff, which equals $12. This will become the new $12 bet on the six. The original $6 on the six will be added to the $6 on the eight and thereby create a second $12 bet on the eight. If the eight rolled instead of the six in this scenario, the same things occur.
  5. So far, you have invested $17 (original $12 bets plus the $5 for the power press) and have $24 in action. The next time the six or eight rolls, you will be paid $14. Now your investment has been recouped except for $3, and the next win will be pure profit of $11. Winning the $11 relies upon sixes or eights rolling three times without the seven rolling when the bets are active.

Remember, the key to maximizing winnings is making bets bigger while you’re winning.

Casino Bonuses and Loyalty Schemes

Posted by admin

These are offered by online casinos to encourage new players to sign up and play regularly. In this article we will look at the types of schemes that are most commonly offered, and I will explain how you can evaluate them and choose a casino bonus or loyalty programme that best suits your needs as a player.

Sign-Up Bonus

The sign-up bonus rewards you for registering a new casino account (signing up) by giving you a specified amount of cash to play with. You often don’t need to deposit any of your own money to claim this bonus (if you do then it could more accurately be described as a first deposit bonus – see below) so it could be viewed as free money. Sign up bonuses requiring no deposit of your own funds are almost always of a fixed amount.

First Deposit Bonus

This rewards you for making your first deposit into an online casino account. It is usually based on the size of your initial deposit and is expressed as a percentage, with a maximum threshold. For example, it could be advertised as a “100% bonus up to $500″. This would mean that your first deposit would be matched by the online casino, but you wouldn’t get a bonus of more than $500 even if you personally deposited a higher amount.

Reload Bonus

A reload bonus works much like a first deposit bonus, but in this case it rewards you when you reload your account by adding more funds. As with the first deposit bonus, reload bonuses are expressed as a percentage and have a maximum limit. It is also usual for this kind of bonus to apply to just one deposit per calendar month, although some online casinos may be more generous when they are running special promotions.

Loyalty Schemes

Loyalty schemes reward regular players by giving them points (often referred to as Comp or VIP points) for every bet the place at the casino, regardless of whether they win or lose. These points can be collected over time and then redeemed for cash that they can spend or for tangible prizes. Players at some casinos who collect a specified number of points may also be promoted to a higher ranking in a “VIP Programme”, which could give them better reload bonuses, a lower house edge in certain games and entry into VIP-only competitions.

Although most bonus and loyalty schemes work in a very similar way, there are subtle differences that make it worthwhile shopping around for the best deal. The main points that you should consider in this respect are:

Terms & Conditions

All bonuses and loyalty schemes have terms and conditions attached to protect the casino from abuse and exploitation. You should check these terms carefully so that you know exactly what you will be getting from a specific programme. For example, most bonuses can only be withdrawn after you have given the casino a certain amount of “action”, and the amount of action required will vary from place to place. Being aware of how much action is necessary before you decide to participate in a bonus scheme is essential.

Quality of Rewards

A loyalty scheme is only as good as the rewards you get for the points you collect. If you need to collect points for months just to get a dollar in cash or a bookmark then it probably isn’t the best one around. Take a look at what points can be redeemed for – and how long it will take you to get those points – before making any decisions.

Personal Cost

How much will you need to bet to get a certain number of points in the loyalty scheme that the casino offers? If you can get twice as much value in one loyalty scheme than you can in another, it makes sense to take that fact into consideration when evaluating the offer. Similarly, if one venue offers a bonus that is twice as generous as another, it’s sensible to choose the more advantageous deal.

Time Limits

Some casino bonus and loyalty schemes have time limits which you need to be aware of. For example, when collecting points in a VIP programme some places allow you to do so indefinitely so that you can save for months, or even years, before redeeming them for a chosen reward. Others insist that you redeem your points at certain times (such as every 90 days) and this will obviously restrict the number of points you are able to collect before choosing to redeem them.

Whilst you should never choose to join any site just for the bonuses or loyalty scheme that it offers, such things can be useful in helping you to decide between two or more online casinos that are very similar in all other respects. If you can find a casino you enjoy that has a bonus and loyalty scheme you are happy with, your online gaming experience will be as good as it gets. Enjoy!

So, let’s start from the basics shall we? Sports betting is the activity of predicting sports results and placing a wager on it. If you are well informed, you can make a quick, large amount of money. That is why sports betting are superior to normal gambling. Because you CAN have the odds stacked in your favor. That is if, you know what you are doing.

There are different kinds of sports betting also. A simple wager with your friend on the winner of the super bowl is quite a lot different than professional sports betting. Professional sports betting (which is obviously where the real money is) is done through a bookmarker. Bookmarkers are legal in certain places like Las Vegas, but in less urban places most people place their bets through the internet or an illicit bookmarker.

There are two different types of wagers that book markers offer: a straight up money line bet, or a point spread bet.

A straight up money line bet is simple; if you bet on the underdog and win, you would receive considerably more money than betting on the superior team. A point spread wager also deals with the underdog, but instead gives the underdog additional points, as a handicap. For example, if the Steelers were Against the Patriots, which ever team you choose and wins you would receive the same amount of money, but the Steelers start out with a free 14 points.

As explained earlier, if you want to make a lot of money very quickly, sports betting is your best bet (yes, a clever pun). However, it is extremely crucial that you know the methods and secrets of the system, or else you will waste all of your money. In other words, before you pursue sports betting make you’re educated.

There are tons of books promising unrealistic profit by revealing their “super secret secrets”, but most of them are scams or just stolen information from better guides. In order to truly understand sports betting, you need to start with a very thorough guide that explains everything to you as detailed as possible. My personal favorite is

http://www.quickproductreviews.com/sportbetting.htm

because the step by step guide is simply phenomenal. I’m going to be straight forward, it is not cheap at the price at $97, but if you look around for inferior programs that cost $200 and $300, it definitely is the right choice.

Roulette Strategies

Posted by admin

Casinos’ have been pocketing the chips of roulette players since the 18th century. It has been one of their greatest money makers, due to its large house edge. The house edge comes from the fact that the casino gets 1 or 2 extra pockets than you. It’s like they’re playing poker with an extra card.

Yet, many still believe that there is some way that you can overcome this house edge. People have come up with roulette strategies like the: Martingale, Fibonacci, d’Alembert, Regression, Reverse and a hundred other variations. The internet is full of many more roulette systems that don’t work, being pushed by people who want to make money of casino commissions.

All of these roulette strategies revolve around what is known as “gambler’s fallacy” – the belief that a certain number is more likely to come up due to past events. They rely on the hope that you will have certain winning streaks and not have certain losing streaks.

Of course, being a “fallacy”, past spins have no impact on future spins. It’s not like the roulette wheel has a memory. This means that any spin of the roulette wheel is completely unpredictable. The only thing predictable about roulette is that you’ll lose around 2.6% to 5.3% of money each spin. The longer you play, the more money you lose.

The best strategy you can have for playing roulette is, have fun. Don’t expect to win and don’t be more than you can afford to win. Choose an amount you would like to win. If you win it, leave.

But, if you just can’t live with the fact that the casinos are beating you. You may want to look into the strategies real professional roulette players use to make money playing roulette.

One such strategy, that has proven to be very profitable for some people in the past, is bias wheel playing. This where you find a wheel that is not random. If a wheel is not random, it will have certain numbers that come up slightly more than they should. This can be due to an unlevel or worn wheel.

Unfortunately, it is very hard to find a bias wheel. If you presume a wheel is not random, and you’re wrong, you will lose money very quickly. Fortunately, I’ve designed an easy to use program that detects bias wheels while you play roulette online. Tennis is currently enjoying unparalled growth around the world as both a participant and spectator sport. Particularly in the former Eastern European communist states, tennis has become the sport of choice for a whole generation of young sports enthusiasts.

Despite its increasing popularity around the world, tennis does not enjoy a high profile as a betting sport. Whilst many people associate sports betting with horseracing and football, the fact of the matter is that tennis is arguably one of the best sports in the world to bet on.

If you consider yourself to be something of a tennis expert and are interested in finding how you can convert your knowledge into dividends in the tennis betting markets, then you need look no further than the following basic guide to tennis betting.

• Match Betting is the most basic betting option available in tennis, and placing a match bet couldn’t be easier. Simply pick the winner in any given match. If your prediction is correct you’ll get paid out the odds on your bet.

Tennis match betting slips are easy to make sense of: the slip will feature the name of each player (or players in doubles), and all you have to do is check the box beside your chosen player’s name.

• There are usually several other betting opportunities available in any tennis match. A popular option is the handicap bet which works in much the same way as a match bet. The difference is that you can choose between a bet which deducts games from the stronger player’s final score, or a bet which adds games to the weaker player’s final score.

Handicap betting makes a contest more even from a betting point of view, but generally offers lower odds.

• Set betting allows you to bet on the final score of a tennis match by sets. You can bet on any variation of the balance of sets won in any match, and this betting option carries some good odds.
