If you’re new to betting online, there are a few sports betting basics that you should follow. These tips will help you get started and help you avoid making costly mistakes. If you want to get into the world of sports betting, you probably have at least some knowledge of a sport or maybe even several sports. Even if you only follow your favorite team’s progress, this will help you when placing your bets.

The first tip in sports betting basics is to be careful with your money. It might seem tempting to wager a large sum of money on a game that seems like a sure success, but you never know what the actual outcome will be. Are you prepared to pay if you wind up losing? Betting more than you can afford is a common mistake made by newcomers who are eager to win fast money. Manage your money wisely. Don’t be afraid to start small and work your way up as you go. Aim to work with your profits.

Another sports betting basics tip is to keep an open mind. You might feel bad betting against your favorite team, but sometimes that is the better choice to make. If the odds of your team winning aren’t good, you’re likely to lose money if you bet on them. You could place a bet on them as the underdogs, but make sure you can cover yourself if they do wind up losing. Besides, becoming familiar with other teams will help you make better choices when placing bets.

One of the best sports betting basics tips to follow is to do your homework. You might not like numbers, but you’ll need to have at least a basic understanding of statistics. This will allow you to understand averages. You should look at a team’s past record, including wins and losses. You can also study the statistics on particular players to give you more insight. Pay special attention to key players on a team. You can take a look through the sports pages or visit a team’s official website to get these statistics.

Another handy sports betting basics tip is to work on your timing. Certain bets stand a better chance of paying off when placed at particular times. For example, if you’re betting on the team that is favored to win, place this bet as early as you can. However, if you’re betting on the underdog, you should wait as long as possible to place this bet.

Sports betting can seem confusing or complicated for beginners. If you keep these sports betting basics in mind, then you’re well on your way to making the money you want. Remember to ease your way into online betting. Doing your research and having patience will pay off for you down the line.

CANTERBURY BOYS TENNIS TEAM OF THE WEEK

Ok, let’s get down to business. This system says it guarantees 97% on all of your sports bets through the system, gives you lifetime support and betting picks, a free trip to a couple choice locations such as Vegas, and ultimately will just make you a lot of money. But does it work?

I bought this system with TRUE skepticism. I talked to a bunch of people first, studied it to the fullest, and talked to John Morrison, the creator of the system, many times before I became comfortable putting down $197; which really isn’t that much, but I just wanted to make sure I wasn’t getting suckered into another ridiculous scam no matter what the price is.

After three weeks of using the system, I was extremely glad I went through with it. The support is top notch; you will receive support from John himself, and he does all the work for you and sends you picks every time there is one; which is quite often. I have been receiving picks almost daily… Plenty to keep a large amount of cash coming in.

And now, after 4 months, I have made over $12,000. This is only because I didn’t have much to start with; the financial potential is literally infinite. The amount you can make depends on how much you have to work with. Ultimately, you don’t need a lot to make a lot.

MY VERDICT: A definite must buy for ANYONE who wants to make some extra money; and it doesn’t have to be an extra income. A lot of people are using this as their actual income. It’s easy, fast, and actually fun. This is a rare system that actually lives up to what it says.

Golf Lesson: How to Fix a Slice

Posted by admin

Erik Horve, PGA, Director of Golf Instruction at Tustin Ranch, gives tips on how to fix a slice in golf.

In this article I guide you through some important considerations you need to implement in order to become a smarter bettor:

Bargain hunting

Hunting for value bets is almost as fun as winning. (Not quite… but almost). However, it is also time consuming. If you’re clicking between bookie’s sites and those bookies are updating in real time, you could be placing what you think are value bets when they really aren’t… because other bookies are moving the same time you are placing your bet.

One way to help you find value bets is to use odds comparison sites. These will hunt around bet-makers sites and view their odds and then post them and compare them. Bet Brain is one such site. These comparison sites are so helpful.

However you need to be aware of a few things: Namely, you should know that these sites sometimes mistake one event for another and so don’t take them as your final authority on value bets. Use it as a guide and then check out the bets for yourself.

Also, be aware that these sites are not always in real time. They take a “snapshot” if you will and post it… then take another snapshot later. This gives them accurate quoting for a brief period of time. Again, use this as a guide rather than as the rule. Don’t be shocked if you find a bet that is different between the comparison site and the bookmaker’s site.

Position Taking

When taking a position in an event, you will be issued a betting slip on the screen. Don’t bother printing them out, just keep the information in a chart. You might use an Excel spreadsheet or you might just print it out. I like to fill mine out on pre-printed charts because I don’t like to sit in front of my computer all the time but you can do what you want.
