    Diesel does work in the US, it’s just more difficult for people to realize how more fuel efficient and durable diesel engines are over gasoline ones! One thing is also the lobbyists who want to keep making money for the oil companies want to control how and what kind of cars consumers purchase. I’m sure they know that if major auto makers introduce their awesome high mileage engines here in the US, gas cars will become obsolete!

    Hydrobik1 VW’s quality has improve tremendously over the last few years. Consumer reports recommends 8 VW models for 2010 up from 1 in 2006.

    VW’s warranty is on par with Honda, Toyota, and Nissan. and VW includes FREE maintenance, there was never a price increase. they way they did it was by going from a 4/5000 warranty to a 3/3600 like most of the industry.

    Nice video… but what about VW’s history of unreliability? Plus their warranty is subpar, even Hyundai has a better warranty. Oh and that free maintenance is not free, it just included in the price, nice try though.

    Uhhh… there’s a “gas” Golf here too, lol.

    The Golf TDI is awaited because it’s torquier, more fuel efficient, and has a stiffer chassis than the standard Golf.

    The golf and Scirocco are very good cars! but I dont undertand why Volkswagen wants to introduce DIESEL cars in US !
    Diesel doesn’t work for Us market , it’s expensive…There is a golf who works with gas in Europe why not in US?

    Oh ok good , I was interested in the Jetta TDI until i saw that it was built in Mexico…I didnt know if the Golf was built there too.

    For me, the gti/golf looks 10 times better than the A3, although I love audi, the price hike doesn’t match the the looks of the interior/exterior compared to the gti/golf. Saving a ton of cash is also a good thing!
