    Agreed. This game is NOTHING LIKE what the trailers etc would have you believe. The controls all over the place, I’ve had it for about a month, and have just turned it off in complete frustration for the thousandth time. The player will frequently swing into thin air for no reason, or stand still whilst you attempt to hit a shot. If I could get my money back, I would. The disparity between the trainler and the real thing makes me really angry. Wii Sports Resort is immeasurably better.

    DO NOT GET THIS GAME! it has the worst control scheme ever! when i try to hit a backhand the CORRECT WAY, the player is positioned as if he is hitting a forehand and hits it the totally wrong way. there are way too many errors in this game and wii motion plus doesnt help make the game any more accurate. wii sports tennis is better than this! wait until a new tennis game comes out. by the way wii sports resort is really fun and the ping pong is more realistic than grand slam tennis!

    I’ve never really cared for sports games until the Wii came out, mainly because nothing beforehand ever really got the feel there. They were boring games IMO. Now the motion controls have gotten good enough to the point where I’ll consider BUYING the games because even if it’s not perfect, the feel is there.

    I actually went out and bought TW10 and GST first day. First time I ever bought ANY sports games period. Thinking about NHL 2K10 and NBA 2K10 this year too.

    It’s not like your doing that on the wii either. It’s got motion sensing to make the game more realistic for people. Maybe your quite an odd person but for most people the more realistic motion-control compared to a controller is much more fun. Also, the reason some people might instead is if it’s raining, or they aren’t very good at the sport but wish to play. Although to be honest I don’t even think it’s necessary to give reasons, it’s pretty obvious that it’s fun.

    Well not really, because with wii tennis you’re making tennis movements as if it’s a racket…so why not just go play tennis anyway. It’s not like you’re controlling the feet of the players on fifa on xbox or wii.

    they got some front – the whole idea is this WII was was supposed to be accurate for motion detection when you FIRST buy the system not wait for them to sell you a tweak later on

    This is like BMW selling you the worlds most advanced car on the planet and then 6 months later adding the reverse gear.

    Yes it is. Your comparing it like the xbox (360) and ps3 are completly different to the wii, which they aren’t. The wii has motion control, but it is entirely optional for the game developers. They are all games consoles. Fifa is out for the wii too, it isn’t just the xbox and ps3.
