Troy, Michigan. If so, i’ve heard of Troy.
@evasivenose the hell what school do u go to?
Haha thats nice, I also made varsity as a freshman, I am ranked #4
im so happy lol i only played for one year my freshman year and im already varsity we are the second best highschool in our league right next to Troy if you’ve ever heard of Troy high school
wow, that kicks alot !
@coachjeffl
Learned it in 6th grade by accident while watching a Stan Smith video and it worked very well all of middle school but it did give me back problems. One of the things in my spine rotates the wrong way and I get pain everytime I sit in a chair. Hope this helps.
yea
1:17 nice
I WAN ECHIZEN RYOMA TWIST SERVEEEEE
I thought twist serve was just the old name for the kick serve. My kick bounces to the right, does that mean i have a twist? Confused………
Lol wat a loser >.> Typical coach wif no real pro tennis experience
idiot??
Nice vid. I wonder how old a child should be before you teach them this serve. Seems like it might put some pressure on the back and shoulder.
Short and sweet. Thanks, coach.
lol, doesn’t matter if you “know” it’s comming. If you can’t react/respond to it, then it doesn’t matter.
Plus, when you see it come at you, it curves in the air like a slice(so most react to it as a slice) but when it lands it kicks out the other way. That’s not even the end of it because it also bounces high out of the strikezone. Watch Sampras get fooled by it.
That’s why it is a useful serve. But as far as the second bounce goes, it doesn’t matter because if it bounces 2x it is a point.
been playing tennis for 10 years. my serve always sucked. i’d give my left nut for a serve like that, whether used as first or second serve.
hhmm….. i understand that he did an awesome twist serve…. but is there any point in twisting the bonce on the 2nd time the ball lands on the ground o.O? (cause if it lands a 2nd time on the ground in a game, it is already considered as a point, no o.O? I also understand that it is harder to counter that serve since it’s a top spin, but it can be clearly seen when he is going to use a twist serve… since he is holding his racket like a sword… Can anyone explain the point in doing so o.O?
i know what you mean. this serve is sick. and is especially hard to do. timing is right. im surprised cuz he got the ball right on the corner. that is really difficult no matter who it is.
eastern
friend if you do the opposite side will do so with a greater effect
ya, I’m a noob and I can see the difference, and somehow you can’t
