The City of Austin said floods and the high number of disc golfers are damaging the park. A new course is being planned in East Austin.
The crew from Disc Golf Live video magazine was on hand to capture footage at the 2010 United States Disc Golf Championship on the Winthrop Gold course in Rock Hill, SC. During final round play, Nate Sexton, playing on the fourth card, recorded a sweet forehand ace on the famous “Bamboo” hole. There are also a few shots of the lead group. Nate’s card mates notched great deuces as well, including a tasty forehand birdie by Garrett Gurthie around the bamboo wall.
